My X8 is heavy. It is easily thrown at WOT, but the distance between my hand and the 13" carbon propeller is too small for feeling comfortable. And it is impossible to throw with my video goggles on, which is what I prefer to do. deTonaToraRaTor made a great catapult which he is explaining here: [ Ссылка ] . brett binnekade made his simplistic version which seems very smart, but maybe too fragile for a heavy X8 [ Ссылка ] . Mine is inspired by theirs, and other catapults. The principal difference between mine and the mentioned is that mine is released by a 10 meter steel wire, which gives me plenty of distance to the propeller when I´m "blind" with the goggles on. Also, I have more bearings (12) due to the construction.
