Wave for camera from spectators at 2008 Veterans Day Parade San Jose, CA
After opening ceremonies, I did a quick run of spectators gathered downtown San Jose before parade. This was also televised live on the K6BEN amateur television station repeater on 421.25MHz or over-the-air cable channel 57.
My camera had a Drake video mini-modulator transmitting on 427.25MHz (cable ch 58), video platform had a small Sansui TV set with composite video output. This output was connected to a 1255MHz video transmitter, the uplink (input) to K6BEN ATV repeater.
To view K6BEN, connect external antenna to a cableready TV set on channel 57. Aim antenna (vertically polarized) towards east San Jose foothills. K6BEN ATV station repeater covers the south San Francisco bay area.
