Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sociology at the University of Cambridge, we introduce the Oral Histories Project initiated by members of the History Panel of the Sociology Anniversary Conference. The project aims to capture the experiences of staff and students of the Department of Sociology.
The vision is to create a resource for reflection on the roots of sociological study at Cambridge as well as potential futures for the Department. The project has been directed by Dr Timur Alexandrov, an alumnus of the Cambridge Department of Sociology, with the assistance of current staff and postgraduate students.
