Now, Sellars presents a full staging of his modern Passion, The Gospel According to the Other Mary for the first time. The narrative is based on New Testament stories of Lazarus and Jesus and draws inspiration from evocative Mexican poetry and contemporary texts.
Stunning sets by 2014 Sochi Olympiad designer, George Tsypin and a troupe of world-class dancers enhance the storytelling, while ENO regular Patricia Bardon - Mary Magdalene - leads a superb cast that includes a major role for the ENO Chorus.
