Our recent trek to the abandoned Laguna Quays resort at Midge Point Qld. We launched from Conway Beach which is just south of Airlie Beach and flew southwest in great conditions. The Proserpine river was quite dirty from recent heavy rains and can be seen below just after launch.
After checking out what was left of the marina and golf course, we headed back and had an impromptu meet up with another SAFA member who landed his ultralight on Lethebrook beach.
