Now to the U.S. where the House of Representatives has passed a new Africa Growth and Opportunity Act. The legislation is meant to make the trade deal more effective. Under it, the president will establish a website with information regarding AGOA. It will also encourage embassies in selected countries promote export opportunities to the United States. AGOA aims to promote and develop stronger economic relationships between the sub-Saharan African nations and the U.S.
