This video covers all the steps required to change your outer tie rods on your Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain. This was done on a 2015 model, but should cover all model years 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017. This goes through the ins and outs of the jobs.
Please use exact torque specifications whenever possible,
I did not mention it in the video, as I did not have it at the time, but here are the torque specs.
Outer Tie Rod Jam Nut (the one threaded onto the inner tie rod) - 44 ft/lbs
Outer Tie Rod Castle Nut - first pass, 18 ft/lbs, 2nd pass, 80-100 degrees
