The BBC is facing calls to air a Christmas number one contender that parodies Sir Keir Starmer’s winter fuel cuts.
The song, by Sir Starmer and the Granny Harmers, slays Labour's decision to cut the benefit for millions of pensioners. It’s currently topping music download charts but has reportedly been ignored by radio stations.
Supporters are urging the BBC to show impartiality and play the charity single, which raises funds for elderly support causes.
