Tuesday was the grand opening of Second Chance Thrift store.
It's on Ringgold Road right next to Amigo's restaurant.
All of the proceeds go to the Humane Educational Society.
The non-profit organization is asking for donations of clothing, shoes, houseware, furnitures and books.
Shoppers are already taking advantage of the deals and helping animals.
