The incident took place on Saturday when two Indian Nationals were attacked and robbed of $10,000 by unknown assailants. They were attacked after they exchanged money from the vicinity of the Mexico City International Airport.
One of them lost his life due to gunshots he received and the other was treated at the scene without injuries.
