Bio: Michio Woirgardt is a composer and live musician for ballet and contemporary dance. The studied guitarist received his education at the renowned University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, as well as at the Saarland University of Music and Performing Arts. Michio has created a very personal style in recent years, which appeals to the choreographers of the ballet ensembles of state theaters, as well as contemporary ensembles of the independent scene. So, he composed u.a. for the state houses Ballet of the Darmstadt State Theater Ballet of the Saarländisches Staatstheater Ballet of the Landestheater Linz Tanzcompagnie Landesbühnen Sachsen Ballet Vorpommern Ballet Magdeburg as well as for free companies and choreographers, etc. Cooperativa Maura Morales Landerer & Company / Hanover Company Idem / Switzerland Felix Bürkle-Staring Point / Düsseldorf Minako Seki and Yumiko Yoshioka / Berlin Leonor Leal / Seville In 2010, together with choreographer Maura Morales, he founded the contemporary dance company »Cooperativa Maura Morales«, with whom he has since performed numerous stage plays and regularly performs throughout Europe, Asia and South America
