Earth fault Loop Impedance path for an installation connected to a TN-S earthing arrangement. The earth fault loop impedance path need to be of low impedance so the fault current is high. This high fault current will cause the overcurrent protective device (fuse) to operate very quickly. The path consists of the exposed conductive part, the CPC, the earth bar, the earthing conductor and the line conductor.
