STORYLINE:
FIFA presidential candidate Issa Hayatou arrived in Seoul, Korea on Saturday for a final round of campaigning before the FIFA presidential elections on May 29th.
Hayatou says he is ahead of his rival Sepp Blatter in terms of support of various federations in the run up to the presidential elections.
The rivalry between Hayatou and Blatter came to a head last month when Hayatou's supporters in FIFA charged Blatter of financial irregularities.
Last week Blatter warned his rivals of serious repercussions if the charges against him were not proven.
Hayatou dismissed Blatter's warning saying it is for the Swiss courts to decide the fate of Blatter.
Hayatou has promised Asia more permanent seats in the World Cup finals if he is voted the FIFA president.
Presently, Asia only has two and half automatic seats while the Asians have been asking for a minimum of five. Oceania is another region Hayatou has promised to give automatic qualification for the finals.
Despite Hayatou's promise, the Asian federations have not rallied behind the African before the elections next week.
A divided Asia is a bother for Hayatou's biggest supporter in Asia - Chung Mong Joon, the chairman of KOWOC.
