Aisha Gamar, Nekhil Govender, and Amy Luty believe that everyone deserves to live in a city that is designed to be inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.
Inspired by Tania Del Rio (Fmr. Executive Director, City of Boston’s Women's Advancement Office), these young leaders want to help their city make progress on promoting gender equity. They are asking the City of Coquitlam to place lactation pods in public spaces. They believe their city can be a leader in providing safe and accessible public spaces for young families to grow and thrive. They are driven to make their city a more welcoming community for all. This is their policy for the public good.
