In this week’s edition of The Middle East Report, Simon Barrett interviews Michael McCann the director of Israel Britain Alliance and former Labour MP on his latest campaign exposing the lies of Israel apartheid week.

Every year pro-Palestinian groups organise Israel apartheid week at university campuses throughout the world as an opportunity to demonise the Jewish State and slur Israel with the awful accusation of being an apartheid state.

This generates hatred towards Israel by impressionable students and leads to a rise in Jew Hatred on campus despite these slurs being harmful lies.

To claim Israel is an apartheid state is outrageous especially when Arabs make up 20% of Israel’s population and they are equal citizens with Jewish Israelis. No where will you see in Jerusalem or any other part of Israel, one bus or tram for Jews and another for Arabs. There is no segregation in Israel.

It is time that all our universities and institutions of Higher Education ban Israel apartheid week as it breaches the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance IHR definition on anti-Semitism.
