NJ Biz Owner Sentenced for Hazardous Waste Violations
Last this week, a business owner in New Jersey is facing jail time and a multimillion-dollar penalty for alleged hazardous waste violations, including improper storage of thousands of drums containing toxic chemicals like benzene and lead. On top of the 4.2 million dollars in restitution costs the business owner must pay, he has now been sentenced to 30 days in prison.
