Addressing the media, Home Minister of Karnataka G. Parameshwara told that the Chief Minister had appealed to the people of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu to remain calm. He added that no damage should be caused to the public property and people. The sufficient number of the police force have been deployed to ensure safety.
