When I open a bottle of wine, I’d rather have it be drunk entirely than put it in the fridge. Perhaps it’s because I am somewhat of an old school Frenchman who likes to share a bottle and make sure everyone’s quenches their thirst before the end of the night, maybe it’s because I only drink good wine and its hard to resist. Well, still, even I can see why and I find myself in that position too sometimes when I’ve just opened a bottle and just wanted a glass or two out of it for the night on a week day, or when we’ve just opened the last bottle at a dinner party while everyone happens to be leaving shortly after, or perhaps because I just opened a few bottles for a video or an article and I can’t drink them all, anyways, even I find myself in this situation where I have to keep bottles half-empty or rather half-full for a while. So let’s answer this important question: How long does wine last after it’s opened?
