U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that India and the United State's relationship has "never been better" and that he expected to have a trade deal of some kind soon. He also said that he and India Prime Minister Narendra Modi would discuss the Kashmir conflict during their meeting on the sidelines of the 74th United Nations General Assembly.
Trump also said he believes that Modi and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan will eventually meet and "a lot of good things" will come from it.
Trump referred to Modi as "The father of India" and a "version of Elvis" while speaking to reporters.
