In this episode, I’m going to show you how to control multiple transform properties with a slider control. In our example, we’ll be linking the X-axis and rotation of tires and the X-axis of a vehicle to a slider control, which will allow us to get a realistic movement. Our tires will move consistently with our car along the X axis. This will save time by only requiring one set of keyframes as well as not having to worry about lining up the movement of our car with the exact rotation of our tires. There’s a lot to get through, so let’s dive right in.
Slider controls are very useful when you need to manipulate single or multiple properties at once. You can attach any number of transform properties, effect intensities, and other values to slider controls. I highly recommend playing around with slider controls and seeing for yourself how it can save you time. And the cool thing is, you can save slider control settings in conjunction with effects, shape layer presets, and other properties. Thanks for watching. See you next time.
