Got my hands on the new #MagicDrawingPad from @XPPen this week. It’s an #Android tablet but built for the sole purpose of creating art.
First impressions are good. It’s light and easy to hold plus has a matte screen which reduces glare and also gives you some nice friction when drawing.
I haven’t had time to fully test it yet but I am finding the apps a bit hit and miss. Some work well with the pen pressure with almost no lag, but others aren’t great with the pen strokes lagging a lot.
With that said the community have been crying out for a device like this, a pen display tablet which is portable. I hate to compare it directly but it’s like an artists iPad.
