California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) observed National First-Generation College Celebration Day on November 8 in honor of the Higher Education Act of 1965. Students, faculty, and staff participated in a series of workshops, speakers, and interactive activities to honor and celebrate the experiences of our first-generation students.
