Join us in this video, and we’ll take you through the purpose of pain, why some people are more resistant to it, and why it’s a good thing (at least, in moderation). Then, we’ll teach you a couple of techniques to help you minimize pain, ranging from meditating and visualizing out-of-body scenarios, to straight-up screaming and cussing. Finally, we’ll run you through a couple different kinds of pain you might be liable to face, from the old-school stuff like pulling toenails to more modern psychological techniques, like the dreaded stimulant-free “White Room.”
