In this video we visit Anglesey North Wales. We visit the Porth Wen Brickworks a Victorian / Edwardian brickworks that specialised in making Silica bricks from the local Quartzite quarry. These specialised bricks were used in the steel industry for lining blast furnaces. This former industrial site is now an abandoned industrial site. Its a scheduled monument according to English heritage. The brickworks is a unique industrial heritage site as it still has intact brick kilns, boilers, and industrial chimneys. Situated in Cemaes bay in North wales we go on an urbex adventure to this abandoned industrial site.
