Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) 2-Shot components - made from both liquid silicone rubber and a thermoplastic - can be molded in one injection molding unit and one injection molding tool using SIMTEC's LSR 2-shot injection molding technology. The completed thermoplastic component is either transferred or rotated to the LSR injection site in the same mold where the plastic part was produced.
