To use skype, you have to sign in with an account. Here is how to create a new skype account,

Open the skype homepage. skype.com
Click on Sign in.
If you want to sign in with a Microsoft or Facebook account, go ahead and click on the respective button.
Skype will get your information from Microsoft or Facebook account depending on which one you choose.

But if you want to create an account just for skype, cClick on the 'Create New Account' tab.
Fill in the form and submit as shown in the video.
