This is part two of our adventure here on the Big Green river just outside of Fennimore. The day had been a grind for me thus far, but things really seemed to turn around in a major way! I got on the best brown trout of the day in a really deep fast hole. That is why I always make sure to carry a deep diving nymph rig with me at all times! But other than that fish, it is clear to see that these boys were dialed in! The shallow approach absolutely whooped them as the day continued to move on. It was so much fun meeting new friends and even more fun getting to fish with them! Go check these guys out, they are super fishy folk! It may be the dog days but that doesn't stop the fish from eating! Ya just have to find what they're eating!
