문 대통령, 오늘 청와대서 칼둔 아부다비 청장 접견
President Moon Jae-in met today at the Blue House... with a special envoy of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi... to exchange views on ways to continue strengthening relations between Korea and the UAE.
Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak is the chairman of Abu Dhabi's Executive Affairs Authority.
According to a spokesman, President Moon Jae-in said he looks forward to seeing the completion of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, calling it the symbol of the Korea-UAE partnership.
Earlier in the day, the envoy also had lunch with Presidential Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok.
Al Mubarak is reciprocating a trip to the UAE last month by Im... as the President's special envoy.
Korea's main opposition party has claimed that trip was meant to salvage relations between the two countries, which it says are turning sour.
However, the Presidential office has dismissed that speculation.
