The stunning Big Buddha in Phuket, Thailand 🇹🇭

Is this the biggest Buddha statue you've come across in your adventures? It is the third tallest statue in Thailand, sitting at 45m tall and 25m wide. The Big Buddha statue is covered in Burmese white jade marble and faces the sunrise and Chalong Bay. From up top you are met with amazing panoramic views of Phuket, Chalong, Kata, Karon, Promthep - you can even see the Phi Phi islands and beyond from up top on a clear day. Despite the number of visitors, the area has a peaceful atmosphere and an overall calm feel.
