This March lambing group is seperated into three large family pens. Each group has a full side of a coverall 40' x 100' L so this change has significantly improved the environment for the flock. These coverall sizes are adequate to house the full flock however in our opinion the flock is healthier with having more space to grow.

This year we made a few changes to our feeding which includes mixing our own grains to produce the creep feed for the lambs to save money spent on buying the full creep ration.

Sheep are being fed grains and hay, mineral and salt with access to water.

Lambs are eating hay from the hay feeders and a designated area is set up in each family pen to give access to creep feed preventing the mama's from accessing the creep feed. Our nutritionalist created a mixture of barley, corn and supplement that includes minerals, salt.
