The Church of the Healing Springs is rather a complex of springs, crosses and small Orthodox chapels spread on the hill called "Radului Valley", near Valcele Crampotani in Merisani commune. The place in question is located on the national road that connects Pitesti and Curtea de Arges, about six kilometers from Valcele.
Transmitted orally, from generation to generation, in the form of local traditions, the legends about this place are many. The seven healing springs between the trees are scattered around the church dedicated to Saints Calinic de la Cernica and Nectarie Taumaturgul. Moreover, within a radius of one kilometer, around the churches, the rule of silence is kept.
The waters from "Izvoarele de Leac" have been healing since ancient times, here finding relief from rulers such as Mircea cel Batran, Vlad Tepes and Mihnea Turcitul. Along with them, countless pilgrims stopped at these waters, on their way from Cotmeana Monastery to Tutana Monastery and Curtea de Arges Monastery.
