Today we look at a classic microphone from Sennheiser, the MD421-ii, to see how it works for podcasts, vocals, and guitar. The microphones has a very full sound, with a 5kHz presence boost, with plenty of clarity and open sound. The mic does do a very bad job with plosives, and the mic clip is very easy to mistakenly hit the release button.
