In this short video, we'll show you how to make smoked salmon split pea soup! It tastes just like your favorite ham and pea soup, we swear!

Ingredients:
1 large fillet (or 2 cans) of smoked salmon
1 large yellow onion, chopped
4 carrots, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
2 cups dried split peas
¾ cup dried lentils
1 quart chicken or fish stock
1 quart water
3 bay leaves
Salt & Pepper to taste
Sauté onion, carrots and celery until onions are translucent. Add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil, then allow to simmer for ~1 hour, or until peas and lentils are soft.
Yields ~8 servings. ©ADF&G
