In November 2022, my friend Jen and I did the Everest Base Camp Trek. We started our journey from Baguio (where I was living at that time) and stayed in Bangkok for 2 days before finally arriving in Nepal. We had a 16-day itinerary prepared for us with the help of our tour provider, Himalayan Leisure, Inc.
The views were absolutely beautiful and the mountains majestic. It was a dream trip! Unfortunately, I got acute altitude sickness and had to cut my trek short. Jen continued on and successfully completed the trek!
Being unable to successfully finish the trek was a bummer, to put it lightly. It even took me 2 years to have the bandwidth and put this video together; it was such a personal and impactful experience for me. I will have my revenge :)
