The waterfalls of Mauritius were my second favourite on my trip, of course the dolphins being nr. 1! The Southern part of Mauritius is filled with beautiful waterfalls, a few needing a short or longer hike to be able to appreciate the stunning views in and around the Black River Gorges. I hope you enjoy the few that I captured on film, and there were another 5 that I didn’t have enough time for. Chamarel is the highest at 100m, but even the 10m Rochester Falls was a pleasure to spend time at, with locals jumping & diving next to and in the falls. Tamarind is 11 waterfalls in sequence, an amazing sight … especially from a bird’s eye view!
