love buzz is one of the album tracks of At Home, 1969. it was shocking blue's first album with Mariska on front. It also contains the worldhit Venus. Chris of Nirvana was fan of this album and recorded love buzz in the late 80's on there first album bleach.

Vera Club Seattle
"The first tour in the Netherlands, I remember too well," says Novoselic, the tall bass player who during his first visit to Amsterdam, the band still problems brought by drunk jokes against the police. "We played mainly in youth centers, which gave us the feeling that cultural development of young people in the Netherlands is high on the agenda. Did you know that Seattle is a music club which is called Vera, modeled after the Vera Club in Groningen? Netherlands and of course the land of Shocking Blue, one of my favorite bands. "
So that favorite Nirvana in 1988 and recorded the song Love Buzz released as first single. "I always bought records at a thrift store," says Novoselic. "A dollar a piece, sometimes it was nothing, sometimes fantastic. There I found Shocking Blue. Of course I knew them from their international blockbuster Venus, but the whole album was great. Robbie van Leeuwen and Mariska Veres, great music. At one point we started to fool around in the studio what the riff from Love Buzz, and we have our own version.
