City of Batavia firefighters spent the afternoon at DeWitt Park on Cedar street participating in ice water rescue training on this first day of spring.
The eight firefighters spent the first half of the day in the classroom, after lunch they suited up and experienced the last bit of ice at the pond at Dewitt Park for technician training.
