The Dunedin Botanic Garden is located in the north end of Dunedin. The Garden is a 45 minute walk from the Octagon, or you can catch a Normanby, Opoho or Pine Hill bus from town.

While the Botanic Garden itself is open from dawn to dusk every day of the year, some of the buildings have set hours. Admission to all areas of the Botanic Garden is free.
