Many people like to fish, or to keep aquarium fish as pets. Cultivating one of these hobbies is a great way to make new friends if you've moved to an English-speaking country. The trouble is, fish in English have unusual names, and they're not always pronounced the way they look like they should be. So, let's practice the names of some fish in English (and remember, more than one fish is still fish, not fishes as a rule!). We've included both sport fish and aquarium fish on our list.
