Today's Scharioth Estate is the birthplace of the famous Countess Claudine Rhédey de Kis-Rhéde ancestors in Hungary, in Heves County, in the present-day town of Nagyréde. Countess Claudine Rhedey de Kis-Rhéde is the great-great-great-grandmother of King Charles. We Hungarians are rightfully proud of the Rhedey family. The Scharioth family has revived the ancient history of the Rhedey family on the estate in Nagyréde, and has elevated the castle and its park to a deserving place. The garden of the Scharioth Estate reflects a love for gardening and beauty, exuding reverence for the legacy of great figures in garden art. This garden is a place where nature and human creation harmoniously come together, creating an oasis where visitors can relax, find inspiration, and recharge from the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The park features prominently architectural elements, statues, benches, and buildings that are the result of the Scharioth Family's decades-long collection work.
