...Source: [ Ссылка ] Transcript: China EV Post reports that Nio will launch its third brand, codenamed Firefly, on December 21, 2024, during its Nio Day event in Guangzhou. Firefly will be Nio's smallest and most affordable sub-brand, with prices expected to range between $14,000 and $28,000. The new models will be displayed and sold in Nio showrooms and will share the same battery swap system as Nio’s main vehicles.
Firefly is expected to compete in the small car segment, similar to how Mini relates to BMW. It will meet five-star European safety standards. This launch comes after Nio’s second brand, Onvo, introduced its L60 model in September, priced at around $29,240.
