Order matters! Now, out of everything on this list, only the sunscreen is a non-negotiable. However, if you also like to apply moisturizer and/or primer on your face before you apply your make up, then moisturizer needs to go on BEFORE sunscreen and your primer should go on AFTER sunscreen.

Ideally, I like to allow 10-15 minutes for my SPF to fully dry down before I go in with any makeup products. This helps ensure that the sunscreen has formed a nice, even, stable layer on my skin and is less likely to be disturbed by anything that is placed on top.

Also, it doesn’t matter if you are using a physical/mineral/inorganic sunscreen or a chemical/organic sunscreen. It still comes after moisturizer and before any makeup products.
