Splitting large knotty Dougals Fir rounds for beginners with a Stihl brand 8lb pro-splitting maul.
I use an old school technique which was passed down to me by my grandfather over 45 years ago.
There are always other ways to split large rounds but this is my way and it works well most of the time! I hope this short video helps those who might not have as much experience using a large maul to split even larger rounds. The world is ending soon!! Good luck guys and gals!!
