The Government will accelerate the rollout of Covid-19 vaccine boosters by narrowing the interval between a second and third dose to three months, meaning a million more over-18s can access a booster dose from Friday.
“We are in a race against Omicron and the more people who are boosted the more we can reduce the impact of the outbreak,” Hipkins said, in a statement.
