Here are two AZUR metro trains (sets) seen on the service tracks between Crémazie Metro Station and Sauvé Metro Station on the Orange Line of the Montreal Metro 🟠
The first metro you see is parked directly on the service tracks, which consist of a small pit for light maintenance work.
Right afterwards, a train heading in the opposite direction as me passes by before a second (technically a third) AZUR train comes into view on the third track..
I believe the second AZUR train, the other one seen in the service tracks, is actually moving towards the tunnel that connects to the Youville Shops, which is where the main storage and maintenance facility is for metro trains.
This is one of my favorite sections of metro track because it allows for an amazing view of some parked metro trains. Plus, even when no metro trains are parked on the service tracks, it's pretty cool to see the third set of tracks as you pass by.
The train I was on was heading towards Montmorency and was filmed on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at approximately 7:55 pm Eastern.
