We were attending the Mutiny Diving U-Boat Special Interest long weekend over the 3rd and 4th September 2022. Three sites were dived, SM UB-55, SM UB-78 and SM UB-109. All three were lost in 1918 with '78 and '109 designated as "Protected Places" under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986. Having dived '78 more than half a dozen times now, amazing to see her in much better visibility this weekend and having lost her mussels, which have covered her for many years prior. Her deck gun is always a pleasure to see and also the glass lights in the coning tower of '55.
