Keep in mind I stood in this spot for 49 seconds. To capture the entire crowd one would have had to stand there for around 46 minutes (as per another Torontonian who recorded the entire crowd).

A conservative estimate would place the total at 15k people. Also keep in mind that people joined in along the 18km route (from Queen's Park north to Bloor, east to Yonge St, down to Queen's Quay, west to Lower Spadina, back up to Queen St W, north on University Ave and back to Queen's Park).
