It was founded in 1983 in Glendale California by Andrew and Peggy
Cherng and only expanded internationally in 2013 with branches in
Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, South Korea, United Arab
Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Russia and now the Philippines through a joint venture with Jollibee opening the first branch at the SM Megamall on December 12, 2019.

From their simple mix and match menu we would highly recommend the Kung Pao chicken, Beef with Brocolli, Mushroom Chicken, Savory Shrimp, Fried Rice, Chow Mein, Steamed Mixed Veggies and Hot and Sour Soup. Combo meals are served with your choice of either fried rice, steamed rice, chow mein, or steamed mixed vegetables and the best part is you
can go half and half. Take note that no MSG is added to any of the
items at Panda Express.
