WAVES CLA NX models Chris Lord-Alge's Mix LA Studio, along with 2 sets of monitors and a boombox so you can check your mix on different speakers.
If you are familiar with other WAVES NX products, CLA NX will operate in a familiar way.
You can use Head Tracking with a webcam or the NX Head Tracker, setup Head Modeling for proper HRTF (head-related transfer function), and engage the Headphone EQ for specific headphone models.
You would use something like CLA NX to make sure your headphone mixes translate to the real world. Things like position, low-end, top-end, reverb, delay, and even volume can be difficult to judge properly when you just have the isolated left/right of your headphones.
CLA NX introduces the feeling of a room and great speakers into your headphones so you can make better choices.
