The growing awareness of environmental concerns amidst global warming and climate change has driven a transition towards renewable energy use, like palm-derived biofuel. Not only does oil palm has the highest yield-per-hectare than any biofuel source, but palm-derived biofuel also releases far less amount of carbon dioxide than conventional diesel.
Since 2015, the Indonesian government has launched a biodiesel policy to encourage more alternative fuels, and Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food has been and will continue to be a part of that journey.
